DETECTION METHOD OF APPLICATION WITH PELLET BONDING AND APPLICATION DETECTION MECHANISM

PURPOSE: To accurately detect whether or not silver paste is applied on a lead frame by detecting a continuity state through silver paste after discharge from a conductive discharge part and by detecting whether or not the silver paste is applied on the lead frame electrically. ;CONSTITUTION: A metal tube 4 and a lead frame 5 are electrically connected to a tester 3 connection codes 12, 13, respectively and existence of current continuity is detected and measured. The lead frame 5 is delivered to a fixed position by a frame delivery mechanism of the die bonder 1 through start of the die bonder 1. Meanwhile, application of silver paste 6 is started through a piping 7 from a dispenser device 2 by a start signal 8. Signal of measurement start is sent from the dispenser device 2 to the tester 3 simultaneously with the start and an application state of the silver paste 6 between the metal tube 4 and the lead frame 5 is electrically detected.
