METHOD FOR EXTRUDING BILLET ON EXTRUDING PRESS AND SHORT STROKE EXTRUDING PRESS

PURPOSE: To provide a short stroke extruding press which functions in a very short operating time, is easily maintained, is tough and durable. ;CONSTITUTION: A rotating arm 46 is incorporated on a movable crossing member 28 in a billet supplying and extruding press. A plunger 48 and a billet loader 50 which are spaced each other are incorporated in the arm. Moreover, the arm is rotatable between one state that the plunger is brought to the operating position matched on the extruding shaft (a) of the press and also the loader 50 is brought to one side of the billet receiving position of the press by the arm and another state that the loader is brought to the billet loading position along the shaft (a) of the press and also a pusher is brought to one side of the stationary position of the press by the arm.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1993,JPO
