DESIGN-DRAWING METHOD FOR HANDICRAFT AND DESIGN-DRAWING SIZING AGENT USED THEREFOR

PURPOSE: To obtain a sizing agent for drawing a design enabling drawing of fine design and hardly leaving the design after washing by printing the design to a fabric substrate by a water soluble sizing agent containing a reactive dye subjected to resist printing. ;CONSTITUTION: A fabric substrate consisting of a cotton fiber is printed using a water soluble sizing agent (e.g. sodium alginate) containing a reactive dye subjected to resist printing by acids such as acetic acid and malic acid as a resisting agent to draw a design. When an embroidery is applied along the design and the design is washed with water, the design is not left. According to this method, fine design can be drawn and excellent effects causing no loss of the design even in heat treatment of the fabric substrate is exhibited.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1993,JPO&Japio
