A METHOD FOR STABILIZING POLYESTER FIBER MATERIAL TO PRINT DYEING AND PHOTOCHEMISTRY

PURPOSE: To optically stabilize a print-dyed product of a polyester fiber woven fabric by using a water-based sizing agent for print dyeing including an ultraviolet absorber as well as a dispersion dye and enhancing the color fastness of the printing ink. ;CONSTITUTION: A UV absorbing agent that causes no sublimation preferably until up to 165°C is added to a known water-based resin (a sizing agent containing a combination of CMC with alginic acid) for print dyeing including a disperse dye to prepare the objective sizing agent for this print dyeing. This sizing agent resin is used to directly print the polyester fiber material, treated with hot steam (HT fixation) to fix the dye. Or the finishing agent including the UV absorption agent is applied to the transferring paper and the transferring paper is used to transfer the dye pattern to the polyester fiber material at 190-220°C to give the objective photochemically stabilized polyester fiber print- dyed product of excellent light fastness.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1993,JPO
