ENZYME IMMUNE SENSOR AND ENZYME IMMUNOASSAY USING SAID SENSOR

PURPOSE:To provide an enzyme immune sensor which can detect a slight amt. of antigen or antibody by using a flat plate immobilized with an antibody or antigen and a semiconductor ion sensor with is disposed at a slight spacing from the flat plate. CONSTITUTION:The antibody or antigen is immobilized to the flat plate 1 and the immobilized surface is immersed in a sample to be measured to effect an antigen-antibody reaction. This immobilized plate is then immersed into a soln. contg. the antibody or antigen labeled with enzyme which brings the antigen or antibody in the sample into specific reaction by which the reaction is effected. The flat plate 1 is installed in such a manner that the immobilized surface faces the surface of the semiconductor ion sensor 3 at the slight spacing maintained therebetween. The soln. contg. the substrate decomposed or oxidized by the above-mentioned labeling enzyme is filled into this spacing. The change in the concn. of ions in the soln. generated by the reaction of the substrate is measured by the ion sensor 3 and the quantity of the antigen or antibody in the sample is measured.
