摘要

PURPOSE: To improve the adhesion of an artificial diamond coated film constituting a cutting tool made of a surface coated WC base sintered hard alloy to a substrate. ;CONSTITUTION: At the time of forming an artificial diamond layer by a vapor phase synthesis method on the surface of a WC base sintered hard alloy substrate via a hard vapor deposited layer by a CVD method or a PVD method, between the hard coated layer and artificial diamond layer, a two phase mixed layer constituted of a deep rugged irregular growing phase of a hard coated layer and an artificial diamond phase burrying the ruggedness is interposed by the average layer thickness of 0.3 to 5μm.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1993,JPO&Japio
