SYSTEM FOR SELECTING CONTINUATION/NON-CONTINUATION OF RECOVERY COPYING BETWEEN REDUNDANT CONSTITUTION SYSTEM HARD DISKS

PURPOSE: To surely execute recovery copying by allowing a user to select whether recovery copying is to be forcedly continued or not at the time of generating a reading fault from a copying source hard disk during the period of recovery copying between plural redundant constitution system hard disks. ;CONSTITUTION: If a reading fault is generated from a normal copying hard disk at the time of executing recovery copying for a hard disk 2 having destructed contents from the other normal hard disk 3 in a hard disk system having redundant constitution, a user selects whether recovery copying processing is to be forcedly executed or not. At the time of selecting forced continuation, forced copying is set up and the recovery copying processing is continued.
