PURPOSE:To reduce loss and miniaturize an armature or the like, by dividing one of the respective pole ring coils of three-phase and two-pole armature windings into two, and by winding up slots at both the end sections of the slot train of an armature core, with the divided ones. CONSTITUTION:With the ring coils of three-phase and twopole armature windings among a respective phase coil group (3U-3W) consisting of two pairs of the respective phase ring coils, end section slots 2A and 2L positioned at both the end sections of a coil train 2 as the divided coil pair 13U of the positive pole side coil pair divided into two of a U phase coil group are wound up. According to the order of phase U-W from the right end of an armature core 1, the positive poles and negative poles of the respective pole pairs are alternately arranged in adjacent contact with each other in order of 3V(-), 3W, 3U(-), 3V, and 3W(-). Then, on the coil group including the ring coils of little inductance compared with the other coil group, a two-phase coil group can be reduced to a one-phase coil group, and loss can be reduced.
