OLIGOSACCHARIDE TOCOPHEROL GLYCOSIDE, SULFATED OLIGOSACCHARIDE TOCOPHEROL GLYCOSIDE AND ANTIVIRAL AGENT COMPRISING THE SAME AS ACTIVE INGREDIENT

PURPOSE:To obtain an antiviral agent, comprising a sulfated oligosaccharide tocopherol glycoside as an active ingredient and having low toxicity and excellent anti-AIDS action. CONSTITUTION:The objective oligosaccharide tocopherol glycoside in which hydrogen of hydroxyl group at the 1-position in the terminal saccharide of an oligosaccharide containing the same or different =3 to =20 monosaccharides as a constituent component is substituted with tocopheryl group, oligosaccharide tocopherol glycoside in which the residual hydroxyl groups are partially or wholly protected with acyl groups and sulfated oligosaccharide tocopherol glycoside in which the oligosaccharide tocopherol glycoside is sulfated. Furthermore, the objective antiviral agent comprising the sulfated oligosaccharide tocopherol glycoside or its physiologically permissible salt as an active ingredient is obtained.
