MANAGING SYSTEM FOR DRAWING INFORMATION IN CAD SYSTEM

PURPOSE:To remarkably curtail the total information amount of a managed drawing, and to improve the efficiency of a changing work of the drawing. CONSTITUTION:A drawing information file 8 stores hierarchized drawing information, that is, such drawing information that superior drawing information is constituted of the name of the drawing information of the lower rank and the lowest drawing information is constituted of the drawing information of a fundamental unit. When a drawing display instructing command is received through a drawing information input processing part 7, a drawing information management processing part 1 generates a drawing by using the drawing information and graphic information in which the hierarchized drawing information is read in till the lowest graphic information from the drawing information file 8 through a drawing information read-in processing part 2 by the designated drawing name and outputs it to a display through a graphic information display processing part 5. When a drawing name change instructing command is received, the drawing information management processing part 1. changes the drawing name corresponding to the drawing information of the file managed by a drawing information file management processing part 3 through a drawing information file management information change processing part 4.
