PURPOSE: To provide an apparatus suitable for maintaining excellent flow performance and pressure in a fuel channel guide portion. ;CONSTITUTION: A guide portion of a high-pressure channel 46 in a holder 12 limiting a pump work chamber 8 at an injection nozzle side and in an attached intermediate member 10 is improved so that sealing, efficiency, manufacturing, and assembling of an injection apparatus are affected favorably thereby, and dead space in the high-pressure channel 46 is reduced to the minimum. For this purpose, a segment 462 of the high-pressure channel 46, in which a portion 10 of the holder 12 connected to the pump work chamber 8 is positioned, is substantially oblique with respect to the geometrical axis X-X of the holder 12. A bore 48 is arranged in the portion 10 of the holder 12 connected to the pump work chamber 8. The bore extends substantially at an acute angle with respect to the segment 462 and is intersected in the segment 462. An intersection 47 is in the region of the axis X-X.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1993,JPO
