MEASURING APPARATUS FOR CONTINUOUS MATERIAL TO BE MEASURED WITH THICKNESS CHANGE

PURPOSE: To make it possible to measure the distance based on the changing point of a continuous material to be measured. ;CONSTITUTION: A first thickness measuring means 49A and a second thickness measuring means 49B, which measure the thicknesses of a continuous material 100 to be measured, are arranged at a specified interval in the longitudinal direction of the continuous material 100 to be measured. A moving-distance detecting means 60 detects the moving distance from the positions, where the measurements are performed with the first thickness measuring means 49A and the second thickness measuring means 49B at the long material to be measured 100. These means are provided. The distances from the changing points, which are measured with the first thickness measuring means 49A and the second thickness measuring means 49B, are measured. When the thickness measuring means is made to be one and the data storing position is changed in response to the moving distance, the data can be used as two thickness data, which are measured with the first thickness measuring means and the second thickness measuring means, based on the difference in data storing positions.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1993,JPO&Japio
