CORROSION PROTECTIVE METHOD OF CORPORATION COCK, ETC., WITH SADDLE IN DISTRIBUTING PIPE

PURPOSE: To prevent the corrosion of a stainless bolt, and to obviate the accident of leakage by installing a covering cover to a saddled ferrule mounting section and the outer circumference of a flange coupling and filling the inside of the cover with a foam. ;CONSTITUTION: A ferrule covering cover 4 forming a foam filling space K between a saddled ferrule 2 and the cover 4 is set up on the outer circumference of the mounting section of the ferrule 2 mounted to a distributing pipe 1 in order to distribute water from the distributing pipe 1 to a water supply pipe 3. A foam 6 is injected into the covering cover 4 and cured, and a ferrule protective layer 7, the whole surface of which is covered with the outer circumference of the ferrule 2, is formed. A flange-coupling protective layer is formed on the outer circumference of the flange coupling of the distributing pipe 1 through the same method as mentioned above. The ferrule 2 and the stainless bolts 12, 22 of the flange coupling are not brought into contact with soil containing salt content, rainwater, etc., thus preventing the corrosion of the ferrule 2 and the stainless bolts 21, 22.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1993,JPO&Japio
