DEODORIZING, DEHUMIDIFYING AND COOLING METHOD USING ADSORBING ELEMENT HAVING DEODORIZING AND DEHUMIDIFYING FUNCTION

PURPOSE: To supply clean air having comfortable temp. and humidity by cooling and dehumidifying high temp. and high humidity air to remove offensive smell matter therein. ;CONSTITUTION: The high temp. and high humidity open air 3 is passed through the adsorbing zone 2 of a desorbing rotor 1 using an active metal silicate gel or an active silica gel as an adsorbent and capable of adsorbing humidity and an offensive smell to be dehumidified and deorodized and the treated air is passed through the air supply zone 11 of a heat exchange element 9 to be lowered in its temp. and further passed through a humidifier 15 not only lower the temp. of the air but also to raise the humidity thereof to be continuously supplied to a room 5 as air 14 having the optimum temp. and humidity. The air 6 ventilated from the room 5 is passed through the ventilation zone 10 of the heat exchange element and the low temp. energy given to the heat exchange element 9 is used in the cooling of air 4 in the air supply zone. An overall heat exchange element may be used in place of the combination of the heat exchange element 9 and the humidifier. The high temp. exhaust air 27 passing through the ventilation zone 10 of the heat exchange element 9 or the overall heat exchange element is further heated to be used in the desorbing regeneration of the adsorbing rotor 1.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1993,JPO&Japio
