PURPOSE:To attain manpower saving and to wash filter cloth with high efficiency by mechanically performing washing of filter cloth and opening and moving a press plate at the time of washing. CONSTITUTION:A washer consists of a body 6 formed to be movable both forward and backward in the state of straddling a filter press, self-propelled track equipment 10 provided for the body 6 and driving the body 6, and nozzle elevating equipment 16 arranged in the front part of the body 6 and elevating a nozzle body 20 which is long sideways and equipped in the horizontal direction with plural nozzles 19 jetting washing water forward and backward. An advanced position regulator 23 installed in the body 6 and performing advance and retreat operation of a stopper 29 installed in the body 6 and regulating the advanced position of the body 6 to the operable position, and an plate opening device 30 installed in the body 6 and having a plate opening claw 34 opening a press plate of the filter press backward are provided.
