WAVEFORM ANALYZER AND LAMP ABNORMALITY DETECTING DEVICE FOR CONSTANT-CURRENT ADJUSTER

PURPOSE: To obtain a waveform analyzer and lamp abnormality detecting device for constant-current adjusters which can precisely discriminate the status of constant-current adjusters. ;CONSTITUTION: Waveforms appearing on the secondary winding 8 side of a transformer 6 are collected. Whether or not the waveform in the comparing section exceed a threshold obtained by adding a prescribed value in parallel to the waveform in the comparing section is discriminated and such discrimination is repeated until a set section is completed. When the waveform exceeds the threshold, an abnormality discrimination circuit 20 discriminates the abnormality. At the time of discriminating the abnormality, whether or not the wick is excessively cut and whether or not arcs are abnormal are discriminated.
