EVALUATION OF SLOPE COLLAPSE POSITION ACCORDING TO AE ENERGY

PURPOSE: To specify a slope collapse position accurately by performing an evaluation based on accumulation of acoustic emission(AE) energy. ;CONSTITUTION: An AE wave 5 on a slide surface 3 of a mining K is propagated being attenuated, enters a wave guide 4 buried across the slide surface 3 as AE waves 6 and is detected with AE sensors provided at both ends of the guide 4 to output data. A data finished with the location of a position is selected from the data to be expressed on a one-dimensional coordinate while the position of the generation thereof by the accumulation of energy to assess the collapse position of the mining K. Thus, the use of the evaluation of accumulation of AE energy allows expression of the size of the AE wave on the one- dimensional coordinate thereby enabling the specifying of the collapse position of the mining clearly.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1993,JPO&Japio
