METHOD FOR TAKING OUT UNIT CONNECTOR OF LAMINATE TYPE OPTICAL CONNECTOR

PURPOSE: To easily take out only a desired unit connector without disordering the laminate state of laminate type optical connectors and to apply no unnecessary force to the other unit connectors. ;CONSTITUTION: A lower fitting member 16 which is supported on a base body 18 is engaged with the space of a ferrule laminate assembly 12 from below. A upper takeout member 20 fitted to an upper pressure cover 22 is engaged with the space of the ferrule laminate assembly 12 from above. The ferrule couple 13 to be taken out are moved to by the interval 28 of upper and lower takeout members 16 and 20 by an upper member 36 and a ferrule pressure plate 38. The other unit connectors 13' are restrained by the upper and lower fitting members 16 and 20 and only the unit connector 13 to be taken out is pushed out by a dummy ferrule and slid.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1993,JPO&Japio
