PURPOSE: To obtain the subject apparatus, having a bean boiling vessel equipped with a controller for performing the feedback control of an actuator for a steam regulating valve based on a temperature sensor in the vessel, excellent in labor saving without requiring experience and perception and useful for producing bean jams, etc. ;CONSTITUTION: The objective apparatus 10 has a bean boiling vessel 16 equipped with a temperature sensor 20 in the vessel, a water feed pipe 22, a steam feed pipe 24 and a water draining pipe 26, a water feed valve 30 and a water draining valve 34, opening and closing the valves by the operation of an actuator, a steam regulating valve 32 installed in the steam feed pipe 24, opening and closing the valve by the operation of the actuator and freely regulating the valve opening degree and a controller 38 capable of controlling the actuator in cooperation with a timer 36 for opening and closing the respective valves based on the set valve opening and closing schedule, regulating the valve opening degree of the steam regulating valve 32, regulating the pressure of heating steam and thereby performing the feedback control of the steam regulating valve 32 based on measured temperatures of the temperature sensor 20 in the vessel so as to increase the temperature in the vessel according to the set temperature increasing rate.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1993,JPO&Japio
