PURPOSE: To extend the tube producing time and to enhance the productivity, etc., by providing a lead silicate glass family which is especially proper for the drawing of tubing for use in the neck section of a cathode ray tube. ;CONSTITUTION: The liquid phase linear temp. is equal to below 750°C, an electrical resistivity is 8.0 Ω-(LogR350°C) and linear X-ray absorptive values measured by 0.6 Angstron units are 95 cm-1 at min. At the time of expression by wt.% on an oxide basis, the composition of the glass is constituted almost by 46-51% SiO2, 0.5-2% Al2O3, 0.3-3% Na2O, 9-13% K2O, 2.5-6% SrO, 1-4% BaO, 30-32% PbO and 0.3-1% Sb2O3.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1993,JPO
