PURPOSE: To not only reduce the load on each computer and realize a real-time response to a terminal, but also downsize the computer and reduce the cost. ;CONSTITUTION: This hierarchical computer system is equipped with a host computer 7 which controls total data and subhost computers 8, 9 which control processes wherein specially technical data are generated. Those subhost computers 8, 9 have unit detailed data, product by product, and the host computer 7 is put in charge of total data as a group of the products.
