METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR WAITING FOR THE TIME OF STOPPING CONDENSER FOR STEAM TURBINE

PURPOSE: To eliminate a gas state part in a hot well by supplying degassed condensed water into the isolated hot well and to prevent leakage of the air into the hot well by maintaining the internal pressure higher than the atmospheric pressure. ;CONSTITUTION: A condenser 1 has a condensing unit 4 having a tube nest 3 for condensing steam from a turbine 2, a hot well 5 for storing condensed water, and a partition wall for dividing it. A condensed water falling tube 8 having an isolating valve 7 for feeding down the condensed water to the pocket well 5 is provided at a partition wall 6. In this case, a water replenishing unit 15 for supplying the degassed condensed water to the well 5 is provided. The degassed condensed water is supplied into the well 5 at the time of stopping a plant. Thus, the condensed water is fully supplied in the well 5 to eliminate a gas state part. The pressure in the well 5 is maintained higher than the atmospheric pressure, thereby preventing leakage of the air into the well 5.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1993,JPO&Japio
