PURPOSE: To isolate a polycarbonate or polyester carbonate from a methylene chloride soln. by using a carbon dioxide fluid avoiding the clogging of a nozzle to be used. ;CONSTITUTION: It is characterized that a relative amt. of a carbon dioxide fluid and a polymer soln. used in a two-element nozzle is set so that the polymer soln. is 1 pts. per 10-3 pts. of the carbon dioxide fluid and the carbon dioxide fluid contains 10-1,000 ppm of methylene chloride. The above mentioned soln. containing 5-30 wt.% of a resin is mixed with the carbon dioxide fluid in the two-element nozzle under a pressure of 90-180 bar at 50-75°C (a) and a back pressure of 85-150 bar is kept in the two-element nozzle (b) and dust particles are retained to introduce the above mentioned resin into a separation container (c) to isolate the resin selected from the group consisting of a polycarbonate and a polyester carbonate from its methylene chloride resin.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1993,JPO
