CYLINDER-TYPE BUFFER AND BUFFER APPARATUS FOR GRINDER USING CYLINDER-TYPE BUFFER

PURPOSE: To obtain a cylinder-type buffer, which keeps the pushing force constant and simply determines the neutral position mechanically. ;CONSTITUTION: A first cylinder chamber 2 and a second cylinder chamber 3 are provided in series at the neighboring positions to each other. A fluid input/output port 5 is provided in the first cylinder chamber 2. A part of a first cylinder rod 8, at the tip of which a stopper 9 is formed, is made to protude to the outside, and the rod 8 is slidably arranged. An opening port 10 and a fluid input/output port 11 are provided in the second cylinder chamber 3. A part of a second cylinder rod 13, whose one end is connected to a piston 14, is made to protrude to the outside, and the rod 13 is slidably arranged. In this constitution, the relationship satisfies [p₁.S₁=p₂.(S₂-S₃)], where S₁ is the cross-sectional area of the first cylinder rod 8, S₂ is the cross-sectional area of the second cylinder chamber 3, S₃ is the cross-sectional area of the second cylinder rod 13, p₁ is the fluid pressure in the first cylinder chamber 2 and p₂ is the fluid pressure in the second cylinder chamber 3.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1993,JPO&Japio
