PURPOSE: To close an aperture of a space application optical system without damage by simplifying a structure. ;CONSTITUTION: The device includes a arm 5 for supporting a mobile element and which pivots around a rotation axis, an elastic torsion rod 7 secured respectively to the arm and to the support 3 to move an arm back at axially offset point and stops 9, 10 for determining extreme angular configuration. The device further includes two pairs of complementary magnetic latching members 11, 13, 15; 12, 14, 15, and the complementary units of each pair are constituted so that they face each other when the arm 5 is in the extreme configuration.
