PURPOSE: To accomplish design of kitchen which avoids claims and has high degree of satisfaction by deciding a matrix plan from-plans based on factors wherein the movement of a housewife in a kitchen is classified as a flow line plan and factors of area plan. ;CONSTITUTION: Entrance and exit into a kitchen K from other rooms and movement of a housewife are divided into a plurality of classifications as flow line plans and area plans of the kitchen K in square shapes are divided into a plurality of groups. For example, in the case of a closed kitchen type, six kinds of groups, i.e., pass type line 2 direction A, pass type line 3 direction B, pass type L2 direction C, pass type L3 direction D, bag type L 2 direction E, and bag type line 2 direction, are provided. And an area plan is decided based on a precise determination of site and building area. And based on the determination of entry and exit based on flow line plans and based on the determination of area, a kitchen plan is precisely selected from a group of matrix plans to decide the kitchen K.
