MANUFACTURE OF COLD ROLLED SHEET OF AUSTENITIC STAINLESS STEEL EXCELLENT IN SURFACE QUALITY AND COLD ROLLED SHEET

摘要

PURPOSE:To manufacture an austenitic stainless steel sheet without generating surface roughening at the time of cold forming in a method for manufacturing a cold rolled sheet of the austenitic stainless steel with a continuous casting machine in which a cast billet and the wall of mold are synchronously moved. CONSTITUTION:The austenitic stainless steel is cast into a thin belt-like cast billet with the continuous casting machine in which the cast billet and the wall of mold are synchronously moved, this method is constituted so that the cast billet is recrystallized by annealing it after executing a 1st cold rolling of one pass at draft of 5 to 30% and next the final annealing is executed after executing a 2nd cold rolling to the thickness of the final product.
