CATV SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR CONTROLLING AUDIOVISUAL APPLICATION PROCESSING IN THE CATV SYSTEM

PURPOSE: To prevent an audiovisual application for a program at the end of the broadcasting program by transmitting the superimposed program application receiving time data indicating the time capable of receiving the application for a program from the broadcasting starting time of the broadcasting program to a television signal to be transmitted and the broadcasting start time data of the broadcasting program. ;CONSTITUTION: The CATV center is provided with a modulation means transmitting the superimposed program audiovisual application receiving time data indicating the time capable of receiving the program audiovisual application from the broadcasting start time of the broadcasting program to a television signal to be transmitted and the broadcasting start time data of the broadcasting program. A CATV terminal equipment 102 is provided with a lapse time counting means 25 counting the lapse time from the broadcasting start time to the present time based on the broadcasting start time data on the broadcasting program of the selected channels.
