DEVICE FOR DETECTING ABRASION OF ELEVATOR GUIDE SHOE

PURPOSE: To automatically detect an abrasion loss of a guide shoe by comparing a moving distance of a car which is measured during a period in which the car ascents or descents between a specified height and a position where one end part of a cam member abuts against a limit switch, with a reference value. ;CONSTITUTION: When an automatically checking operation instruction for moving a cage 5 from a specified height to a limit switch 7, the car 5 is at first elevated up to the topmost floor, and the car is stopped at a specified height position where a position detector 12 is engaged with a intermediate part of a shield board 6. Then, the car is lowered from this height position at a low speed, and is stopped at a position where the detector 12 has passed over the lower end of the shield board 6. Then, the car is elevated, and is stopped when a cam member 13 abuts against the limit switch 7, and then a moving distance during the elevation is detected by a rotary encoder. Further, if the moving distance exceeds a reference value, it is determined that the abrasion of guide shoes 9 to 11 are excessive.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1993,JPO&Japio
