APPARATUS FOR PREVENTING SNOW COVER ON GREENHOUSE FOR CULTURE

PURPOSE:To provide the subject apparatus effective for preventing the collapse of a greenhouse caused by snow load by automatically opening a heat-insulation curtain member based or the detection signal transmitted from a snow detector of a greenhouse and carrying out the full load operation of a room heater, thereby causing the melting and slip-down of the laid snow. CONSTITUTION:The ceiling part of a greenhouse 1 having a room heater 1 for the temperature control is provided with an openable curtain member 6 opposite to the ceiling interposing a gap therebetween to form a heat-insulation air layer between the ceiling and the curtain member 6. The greenhouse 1 is provided with a snow detection mechanism 8 to detect the coverage of the roof of the greenhouse with snow. The snow detection mechanism 8 is connected to a snow coverage prevention control mechanism to automatically open the curtain member 6 and automatically and forcedly raise the setting temperature of the heater 4 based on the detection of snow by the mechanism 8. The temperature of the ceiling is by this process to melt the snow on the roof and promote the slip-down of the laid snow.
