METHOD FOR DISPLAYING/DESIGNATING LOGICAL EXPRESSION TYPE TREE STRUCTURE FILE OF UNIX

PURPOSE: To designate a file just by pointing the file in a structure formula displayed on an operation screen against a case where a normal file is designated out of a current directory based on a path and a file name when the file is designated with UNIX or a case where the normal file is designated with a path led from a route directory by displaying the file form of a tree structure on an operation screen in a structure expression such as a logical expression. ;CONSTITUTION: In regard of the file control of UNIX of a tree structure, the relations between the directories A, B, C, D, G, and J and the files E, F, H, I, K, L, M and N are displayed on an operation screen in a structure expression of the form of a logical expression using three kinds of symbols, i.e., a symbol (a) which shows the master-slave relation between the directories and the files, a symbol (b) which shows the connection between the directories and the files having the same masters, and the symbols (c) and (d) which show the divisions shown in a front-back pair showing the directories and files having the same masters.
