PURPOSE: To facilitate the manufacture of a flexible superconducting wire having very many filaments. CONSTITUTION: In a method for manufacturing a superconducting body constituted of very many single core filament rods 10 having a circular cross section, the following process is included that plural single core filament rods 10, having a circular cross section, are incorporated into the inner side of a thin thickness hexagonal tube 16, and these plural tubes 16 are arranged into an extrusion vessel 18, and then hardened, extruded, and drawn into the desired dimension of a wire rod.
