STAGE FOR IMAGE TAKING-IN AND METHOD FOR IMAGE TAKING-IN

PURPOSE: To obtain highly precise and high quality image independently of the surfacial condition of a work by forming a shadow of the work in the front side of the work by emitting light with a plane light-emitting body located in the back side of the work and shooting a picture by a work shooting camera. ;CONSTITUTION: Illuminating lights 28, 28 are emitted from plane light-emitting bodies 26, 26 and a part of the illuminating lights 28, 28 hits the back side of a work 2 and thus the work 2 is illuminated by back light. The other part of the illuminating lights 28, 28 passes between leads of the work 2 and come in to the a work shooting camera 23. The shadow of the work 2 is formed in the front side of the work 2 and the shadow is taken in the work shooting camera 23. Then, the shape and the position boundary of the work 2 are recognized by a recognizing part. Further, based on the recognizing results, whether the work 2 is good quality or a defect is determined and qualified works are registered and then soldered.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1993,JPO&Japio
