PURPOSE: To provide a timer vernier which can precisely control the timing of an input signal having a rough timing edge irrelevantly to variations of a power source, temperature, and a manufacture process. ;CONSTITUTION: The time vernier 106 is provided which has a receiving means for receiving a value representing desired time delay added to rough timing edge input. The time vernier 106 includes a 1st decoding means 924 which decodes fine adjustment delay and generates a fine adjustment delay control signal and a 2nd decoding means 910 which decodes rough adjustment delay and generates a rough adjustment delay control signal and further includes a delay line 206 having input for receiving an input signal having a rough timing edge, the fine and rough adjustment delay control signals, and a control voltage automatically controlling temperature and power source variation for temperature and power source compensation.
