PURPOSE:To safely and effectively treat deep hemorrhoids with a laser beam by forming the optical path of the laser beam to focus it at a deeper section of an affected part when the laser beam is radiated to the skin surface to selectively burn the affected part. CONSTITUTION:The focal distance of a convex lens 2 and the arrangement distance to a skin surface 3 from the convex lens 2 are set to give the optical path of a laser beam 1 so that the conditions that the laser beam 1 is focused at the deeper section of the diseased tissues 4 are satisfied when the deep affected part 4 from the skin surface 3 are to be burned. The optical path area is relatively large from the skin surface 3 to the vicinity of the part 4, thus the laser beam 1 has low-energy density, the part 4 exist at the region having larger-energy density, thus the part 4 are burned. The energy of the laser beam 1 is rarely left between the diseased tissues 4 and a focal point position 5 due to the remarkable energy attenuation by the part 4, and normal tissues can be satisfactorily held.
