MANUFACTURE OF VENEER AS MATERIAL FOR ARTIFICIAL WOOD DECORATIVE MATERIAL

PURPOSE: To provide an artificial wood decorative material of high quality by connecting wood veneers together beautifully and surely. ;CONSTITUTION: Thin wood veneers 1 having a thickness of 0.5mm-2mm are used and ends of the veneers 1 are joined together by scarf joint to manufacture a veneer as material. A gradient of inclined surfaces 4a, 4b of the ends to be joined is 1/5-1/30 and the inclined surfaces 4a, 4b are finished by applying sanding thereto. The surfaces 4a, 4b are joined together by means of adhesives.
