摘要

PURPOSE: To accurately measure shocks from an automobile when the automobile starts to move or stop by constituting a power absorbing device of a torque detector, backlashless speed-increasing gear, flexible coupling ring, flywheel, and dynamometer. ;CONSTITUTION: The rotation of a drive shaft 4 is transmitted to the input coupling 11 of a backlashless speed-increasing gear 8 through a torque detector 7. Then the rotation reaches an output coupling 14 after the speed of the rotation is increased through two sets of gear systems 12 and 13 in the speed- increasing gear 8. The coupling 14 is connected to a dynamometer 6 through a flexible coupling 9 and flywheel 10. The flywheel 10 gives rotational inertia which is equivalent to the weight of an automobile and the gear 8 makes the control of an extremely-low rotating speed area possible. In addition, shock torque generated when the flywheel 10 is accelerated or decelerated is instantaneously transmitted to the detector 7 without delay. Because of the coupling 9, the shock damping degree of tires of an actual automobile can be simulated through a bench-scale test.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1993,JPO&Japio
