PURPOSE: To produce a high temp. alloy for a metallic components using a contaminant-contg. TiAl as a base. ;CONSTITUTION: The compsn. of this alloy is expressed by the formula of TixElyMe2Al1-(x+y+z) [in the formula, El=B, Ge and Si; Me=Co, Cr, Ge, Hf, Mn, Mo, Nb, Pd, Ta, V, W, Y and Zr; 0.46≤x≤0.54, in the case of El=Ge and also Me=Cr, Hf, Mn, Mo, Nb, Ta, V and W, 0.001≤y≤0.015, in the case of El=Si and also Me=Hf, Mn, Mo, Ta, V and W, 0.001≤y≤0.015, in the case of El=B and also Me=Co, Ge, Pd, Y and Zr, 0≤y≤0.01, in the case of El=Ge and also Me=Co, Ge, Pd, Y and Zr, 0≤y≤0.002, in the case of El=B and also Me=Cr, Mn, Nd and W, 0.0001≤y≤0.01, in the case of Me = a single element, 0.01≤z≤0.04, and in the case Me = ≥ two elements, 0.01≤z≤0.08; 0.46≤(x+y+z)≤0.54].
