PURPOSE: To allow the estimation of the positions and sizes of the current dipoles to generate a biosurface potential distribution by dividing a living body to fine cells, connecting the admittances calculated from the dielectric constants of the respective cells, substituting the fine cells with a three-dimensional space circuit network and numerically solving the voltages at the nodes of the three- dimensional space circuit network. ;CONSTITUTION: The three-dimensional magnetic resonance image of x-ray image of a testee body 1-1 is divided to n-pieces of the cells and the testee body 1-1 is substd. with the three-dimensional cubic grid network. The admittances connected to the respective one-dimensional lines are determined by using the dielectric constants of the biotissue in the respective cells. The current dipoles in the testee body 1-1 are then assumed and the positions thereof and the initial values of the current vectors are set. Prescribed equations are established from Kirchhoff's first law, i.e., nodal rule.
