PURPOSE: To enable a pressure head of a gas-liquid two-phase fluid even if its void rate is more than 10%. ;CONSTITUTION: A plurality of centrifugal blades 12 are arranged in the radial state on a crown 13 and arranged in a casing 11. One end of a main shaft 16 is screwed to the crown 13 and the centrifugal pump blades 12 through a nut 17, while the other end of the main shaft 16 is connected to a driving apparatus (not shown). Also, a booster impeller 18 with the aim of rise in suction pressure and agitation in a suction part of the centrifugal pump blades 12 is provided at the center on the suction side of the centrifugal pump blades 12. The booster impeller 18 has a plurality of blades 20 mounted on a booster impeller 19, and the blades 20 is properly angled in the axial direction so that bubbles do not return to the upstream (direction of suction pipe) at the time of agitation.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1993,JPO&Japio
