DIE HOLDER STRUCTURE FOR MULTI-TOOL OF TURRET PUNCH PRESS

PURPOSE: To standardize the holder structure, to increase the number of holding dies, and to curtail the die change time by providing an automatic index device in a die holder as a selecting means of an index of a large aperture punch or a multi-tool. ;CONSTITUTION: The upper die holder 25 and the lower die holder 27 in which one piece of large aperture punch or plural pieces of multi-tools can be installed are provided. Also, a striker having two positioning means, which is moved vertically by a press driving means of a turret punch press, and also, shifted in order to hit and press the large aperture punch or multi-tool is provided. This structure is constituted of an automatic index device which is provided in the die holders 23, 27 and becomes a selecting means of an index of the large aperture punch or the multi-tool. In such a way, the holder structure is standardized, the number of holding dies is increased, the die change time is curtailed, and its working time is shortened.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1993,JPO&Japio
