PURPOSE: To enable high-quality dyeing of crested Japanese clothes by making a resist paste plate adhere respectively through a piece of cloth to both the surface and the back of a lease part of the ground fabric, then dyeing it and separating and removing the resist paste plate together with the pieces of cloth without injury to the ground fabric. ;CONSTITUTION: For example, a pair of resist paste plates 3 sufficiently swallen with a sizing agent are placed respectively through a piece of cloth 2 composed of a rough-mesh knitted fabric on both the surface and the back of a lease part for dyeing a family crest and pressed so as to be sufficiently bonded to each other. After natural drying and subsequent dyeing, the pieces of cloth 2 squeezing out from the surroundings of the resist paste plates 3 are drawn so as to be efficiently separated and removed together with the pieces of cloth 2 without injury to the ground fabric with an excellent workability.
