PURPOSE:To photograph the pupil of the eye to be examined with a sufficient resolving power without increasing the output of a light source section by reducing the diameter of a light shielding point and reducing the diameter of an illumination field even if the pupil diameter of the eye to be examined is small. The image is again formed near the pupil 1 of the eye E to be examined by an objective lens 12 and the fundus oculi F is irradiated therewith. The reflected light from the fundus oculi F is emitted from the pupil I, is passed again through the objective lens 12 and the hole part of the bored mirror 11 and forms the image again in the position of a field lens 17 through a focusing lens 13, a photographic lens 14 and the spring up mirror 15. This image is observed by the eye e to be examined through a mirror 18 and an eyepiece lens 19.
