COMBUSTION METHOD OF NATURAL GAS AND COMBUSTOR FOR NATURAL GAS

PURPOSE: To reduce the discharge amount of nitrogen oxide (NOx). ;CONSTITUTION: In a method for burning natural gas containing 3 or more C hydrocarbon based on an exhaust gas recirculating system, a nitrogen oxide selective reducing catalyst 3 is placed on a line circulating a part of combustion exhaust gas to a combustion part 1 and a part or all of fuel 4 is injected on the upstream side of the catalyst and nitrogen oxide in the circulating exhaust gas is catalytically reduced and purified in the presence of oxygen by hydrocarbon in the fuel 4. By this constitution, the concn. of NOx in the recirculating exhaust gas can markedly be reduced and, therefore, NOx in exhaust gas can be finally reduced.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1993,JPO&Japio
