PURPOSE:To stably harvest HATAKESHIMEJI (Lyophyllum decates (Fr.:Fr.) in a shorter period of time by packing a culture medium into a culture container, sterilizing the culture medium by heating, inoculating seed stocks to the culture medium and, after spread of mycelia from the seed stocks (full maturity), culturing the mushroom bed on a fine granular mineral substance in another culture container. CONSTITUTION:Bark manure is blended with rice bran in a volume ratio of 3:1 in a first culture container, a culture medium adjusted to 65% water content is packed into the container, sterilized under heating at 120 deg.C for 2 hours in an autoclave, the culture medium is allowed to stand at =25 deg.C, separately cultured seed stocks are inoculated into the culture medium in a clean bench, and cultured at room temperature of 23 deg.C at 70% humidity for 40 days. After spread of mycelia from the inoculated seed stocks in the culture container (full maturity), the mushroom bed is embedded in a mineral substance such as Kurobakudo soils comprising fine particles packed in a second culture container and continuously cultured in the room conditioned at 17 deg.C room temperature, 95% humidity at 150 Lux illuminance to harvest 20 days later the fruit body of HATAKESHIMEJI in a normal shape.
