PORTABLE ARRESTER AND LIGHTNING PROTECTOR USING THIS PORTABLE ARRESTER

PURPOSE:To easily respond to a situation where temporatily setting or increasing of arrester is required for maintenance, inspection and absorption of a switching surge. CONSTITUTION:A portable arrester 1 is formed of a long and thin cylindrical insulating cylinder 2, a line fixing fitting 3 mounted on one end of the cylinder 2, a grip part 4 mounted on the other end of the cylinder 2, a ground terminal 5 inserted between the grip part 4 and the cylinder 2, and a zinc oxide device 6 stored in the cylinder 2. The insulating cylinder 2 is formed of fiber reinforced plastic. When the line fixing fixture 3 is hooked on a line 9, and the grip part 4 is then rotated, the portable arrester 1 is fixed to the line 9, and when it is rotated in reverse, the arrester can easily be removed.
