GUIDE PIPE OF WIRE ELECTRODE OF WIRE ELECTRIC DISCHARGE MACHINE AND METHOD TO PREVENT LEAPING UP OF WIRE ELECTRODE USING THIS GUIDE PIPE AT TIME OF DISCONNECTION

PURPOSE:To provide the guide pipe of a wire electrode that can conduct quickly wiring at a wire electric discharge machine, and a method to prevent the leaping up of the wire electrode using this guide pipe at the time of disconnection. CONSTITUTION:The guide pipe 25 of a wire electrode consists of a pipe main body 27 and a connection pipe 29 fitted to its lower end, and the pipe main body 27 consists of the 1st guide 31, a cave portion 33, a compressed air jetting portion 35, the 2nd guide 39, a jet nozzle 41 to jet pressure water and a connection pipe guide 49. Also, arrangement is made so that the leaping up of the wire electrode at the time of disconnection may be prevented by jetting pressure water through the guide pipe jet nozzle 41 at all times during machining by means of a wire electric discharge machine.
