PURPOSE: To provide an overcurrent protective element having circuit protective function which can also detect abnormal state of circuit. ;CONSTITUTION: The overcurrent protective element 7 comprises a thermal element 4 connected with a circuit to be protected and deformed thermally by the overcurrent flowing through the circuit and a pressure sensitive conductive element 5 which is rendered conductive by the pressure produced through deformation of the thermal element 4. According to the invention, protection against overcurrent and detection of abnormal state of circuit can be realized through integration of the thermal element 4 and the pressure sensitive conductive element 5.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1993,JPO&Japio
