PURPOSE: To obtain the simple title method and device on-line. ;CONSTITUTION: The light from a light source 12 is emitted on the surface of the resin film 4, scattered with metallic particles, on the lower steel plate 2 of a composite steel plate, and the emitted surface is imaged with an image apparatus 14. The processings of gradation, graphic recognition, particle identification, etc., are performed in the image inputted to an image processor 15, the number and the distribution of only the metallic particles 11a projected from the surface of the resin film 4 are found, and thereby the weldability of the composite steel plate is evaluated on-line.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1993,JPO&Japio
