CIRCULAR WAVEGUIDE/COAXIAL LINE MODE CONVERTER

摘要

PURPOSE: To attain the structure for facilitating the manufacture and a shape easy to be handled by bonding a coaxial line to a circular waveguide coaxially in a converter converting an electromagnetic wave transmitted through the circular waveguide in a TE11 mode into an electromagnetic wave through the coaxial line in a TEM mode. ;CONSTITUTION: A shielding plate 12 for an electric field in the TE11 mode is inserted into a position where the cross section of the circular wavegude 10 is bisected at a face perpendicular to the electric field in the TE11 mode and a dielectric plate 13 or a metallic lump delaying the phase of an electromagnetic wave propagated by 180° along the center line of the shielding plate 12 is arranged to one part divided by the shielding plate 12 and the center conductor 11 of the coaxial line 10a bonded to the circular waveguide 10 is bonded to the shielding plate.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1993,JPO&Japio
